Art League Houston

Houston, TX

Art League Houston (ALH) is one of the oldest and most active nonprofit visual arts organizations in Houston, Texas, dedicated to connecting artists and the public through exhibitions, classes, and community programming. Founded in 1948, the organization serves thousands of artists and visitors annually through its galleries, studio programs, and public initiatives. As ALH plans for a new facility to meet the needs of its growing community, sustainability has emerged as a central commitment.

A 2026 FCI Scoping Grant will support energy benchmarking and modeling for a planned new facility to guide short- and long-term operational decisions. The study will provide ALH with a rigorous, data-driven foundation for incorporating high-efficiency systems, renewable energy, and sustainable design into the new facility from the outset.
