Maine Media Arts College

A 2023 FCI Scoping Granted funded an energy audit which assessed the efficiency of the heat production and distribution systems, the insulation and air exchange rates, and the building envelope.

A 2026 FCI Implementation Grant will support recommendations prioritized by the energy audit: weather-sealing, air-sealing, and ventilation upgrades. The project is expected to reduce local emissions by approximately 13 percent over two years while extending the building's seasonal functionality and useful life, advancing the college's sustainability goals while improving conditions for students and faculty.
