Ballroom Marfa

Marfa, TX

Established in 2003, Ballroom Marfa's mission is to support the work of artists, musicians, and visionary thinkers of all backgrounds. We commission new work, collaborate across disciplines, and produce exhibitions, public artworks, performances, screenings, concerts, symposia, education programs, and publications.

Ballroom x MASS Design will partner to complete a feasibility assessment of Ballroom Marfa's 1920s-era ballroom to identify necessary upgrades that enhance the space's functionality, sustainability and performance as a contemporary arts venue. This study will evaluate the existing HVAC systems for efficiency and potential upgrades, assess weatherproofing needs and explore energy efficiency strategies to align with sustainability goals.
